上海徐汇瑞峰酒店 Rayfont Downtown Hotel Shanghai
先来介绍一下我们在上海下榻的酒店吧！
上海徐汇瑞峰酒店 Rayfont Downtown Hotel Shanghai, 乘搭计程车来回浦东机场，一趟大约45分钟至一小时的车程。最靠近的地铁站为9号线打浦桥，走出酒店，往右转，直走大约5分钟，越过行人天桥到对面的街道就是9号线打浦桥地铁站所在地了。
附近的景点还有泰康路田子坊，往地铁站同一个方向走，从地铁站到田子坊步行多大约5分钟就到了。就是说从酒店步行到别有一番风味的田子坊只需要10分钟噢！
地理位置来说确实很方便，酒店设施也还算完善，最不方便的就是酒店只有有线上网，房里有cable提供，但是没有wi-fi！当然你可以自行启动自家的roaming跟data，不过对于budget travel的我们来说就有点昂贵，Digi一天RM32，Maxis RM33。只好告诉自己没关系，就当作好好放松，眼睛不必再盯着电话看，电磁也不会因为各大聊天apps一直吵闹而迅速死亡，尽情享受旅行的每一刻！
酒店客服让我们选择高层或低层，我们选择了高层的，住在23楼，心想也许可以看到美丽的风景。一拉开窗帘走出阳台，一眼望去就是无数栋的白鸽笼 :D
酒店附近的街道都很干净，空气良好，可以看看下面附上的照片就知道了。也有很多旅游团下榻于此，好多旅游巴士停放在酒店门口，所以还算是热闹，不会冷清清吓死人那种。
如果想要订购一日游团票，像是到苏州·杭州·周家庄等旅游胜地的，也可以向酒店客服查询，他们可以替你安排相关旅行团，价钱会比自己在外面找更便宜。也许是因为外国人的关系，所以自行在外面订购一日游团票会被砍菜头。

要成为一个专业的blogger，定时定侯post blog好像不太可能发生在自己的身上，很好奇到底blogger们的正职都是什么？
当初开启这blog为的是分享一些旅游心得，毕竟自己出外都是依靠大家在网上提供的资料，也想尽一份力为大家提供一些旅游资讯，付出小小的贡献。
很可惜从blog开启以来就没什么时间po文章，有人说时间是挤出来的，问题是就算我挤得出时间，眼睛已经因为全天候守住荧幕里的小小数目字而变得老眼昏花，身体也因为不分昼夜沉浸在电脑座面前而从颈椎，肩旁到腰椎都无敌酸痛。所以还是那句，到底其他blogger是靠什么找吃的？
我呢，是从早到晚与数目字共舞的。工作到半夜两三点已经是家常便饭，常常在想自己会不会哪一天心力交瘁而猝死？就算可以准时放工，也得从地铁的最终站搭到接近另一端的终点，然后再转车回家去。这样一来一回，一趟路程至少耗上两个小时，每天出门不见天日，回家也赶不上跟太阳公公说再见，你说哪来的时间与精力去做其他事情了？请赐我一天48小时，好不？
不要误会，这不是埋怨，只是感到愧疚，根本没有好好经营这部落格，为自己感到抱歉，也为有浏览我们的部落格的读者们感到不好意思。

我是爱狗之人，家里有两只狗，沿途看见漂亮的狗儿忍不住替它们照了相\(^o^)/。我们在上海许多地方都看见当地人带着这品种的狗儿在街上散步，虽不清楚这品种的名称，但漂亮的毛色与健康的体态把我给深深的吸引住了，我被狗儿的魅力给电到了！

UDC终于把我们上拿铁拉花课的照片post在Facebook了！刚刚download了下来，与大家分享一下上课的情况^^
由于就只上了这么一堂课，隔了几个月后的今天也差不多把课程学到的东西忘得一干二净了。>.< 加上工作繁忙劳累，简直就好像是得了健忘症，最近什么都很难记得起，怎么办啊？
导师一边讲解，一边冲泡不同份量的咖啡带大家赴一场舌尖上的旅行。
说到拿铁，就是牛奶的份量比咖啡来得多，所以牛奶在这一门课成了主角，一杯拿铁的好坏就在于牛奶合不合格了。要是自己在家里冲泡拿铁，导师不建议购买UHT牛奶，因为那是经过加工后的牛奶，在包装过程中已经被烤过一次了，要是再拿到咖啡机里再煮一次就会产生更加浓郁的烤焦味。

请问有谁知道哪里还可以上类似的课程吗？我们都好喜欢咖啡，但barista的课程都很昂贵，这门课要不是有Groupon优惠，其实际价格也不便宜。导师讲解之前也先问了大家为什么会出席，有的人都说因为有50%折扣！如果你知道哪里还有这门课请告诉我们，先说声谢谢啦！

Lounge On The Park, Mandarin Oriental
Upon request for the October birthday girl, we had afternoon tea at #Lounge on the Park, Mandarin Oriental this weekend.
When we arrived, we were ushered to one of the table indoor. I then enquired the waitress if we can sit outside at the balcony to enjoy the park at KLCC. We were told that it was drizzling outside if we don't mind, but if it started to rain, we might not be able to reallocate back to the table indoor. Hence, we decided remain at where we were seated... which is closed to the pianist. (I actually like some of the songs being played)
There are Malaysia Afternoon Tea Set and English Afternoon Tea Set. We chose the English Afternoon Tea Set. Both are RM78 per set. The supervisor who assisted us on our order suggested us to take 1 set to share. Well, thank goodness for her suggestion or we won't be able to finish the pastries. On the set, there're smoke salmon sandwich, egg sandwich, tuna sandwich, plain scone, raisin scone, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, rasberry cream puff and a few other cakes. Along with the set, you may chose either coffee or tea. We decided on having Earl Grey tea.
We both find the scones are not as powdery as we like... which we know most people do not like the dry and powdery scone. Overall, the cakes are lovely.

Kelisa the great
One of the colleagues is doing some research on cars. Comparing prices and spec to decide which car is more valuable to buy. Then here come me the former Perodua Kelisa driver missing the fun driving the small car. Turn out 4 of us who're former Kelisa owners come to conclusion that this small car is the most convenient and worth it's value car.
I remember I use to go Ikea bought my dresser, queen size bed frame, bookshelves not only in it but also deliver the item home in it.... Of course I didn't those things in one shot. But it is amazing that it can carry suck big item. Also, many times when I was frustrated to find a parking, its size come very conveniently fit some of the corners.
Then two of the four was saying just now that Kelisa is very durable too...
Well, if you are ever a Kelisa driver, you will know what we are talking about.

Ready to travel checklist 3: A pair of comfy shoes
I'm bringing my newly bought Fred Perry sneakers to Shanghai^^ Bought it few months back but keep until today only take it out to wear XD
Actually travellers are not encourage to wear new shoes when travelling. Anyway this is my 2nd pair of Fred Perry sneakers, similar design and cutting but of course different color, I've been wearing the old one to many other places, be it local or overseas, I find it very comfortable and it's very light weight, so I somehow have confidence in Fred Perry sneakers :)

Sony Digital Lifestyle Workshop
Theme: De-Focus or Bokeh effect
Venue: Sony Store, The Curve
Date: 6 Oct 2013
Time: 1pm- 3pm
What we understand from the workshop is Bokeh comes from the Japanese word BOKE, it means blurry, or just like what the theme tells, defocus. You may use this effect when you want to take a portrait of someone with blurred background. The effect is stronger if you have zoom lense compare to our Sony NEX 5T kit lense.
We are not professional and we are just sharing what we learnt from the workshop ya :)
Tips from the trainer:
3 things you should pay attention on your camera setting:
a. Aperture -- for NEX 5T, the range is 3.5-5.6. We noticed that the lowest we can go in indoor shooting is 3.5; for outdoor shooting would be 5.6
b. Shutter Speed -- Mr. Trainer advised us to adjust it higher to prevent getting shaky effect on the picture
c. ISO - the higher it is the higher exposure you get
Model is hired to let us have a try on taking good Bokeh effect portrait, at both indoor and outdoor.
I used to be a model few years back, never thought that I would stand at a photographer position today^^
Mr. Trainer advised us to stand closer to Ms. Model and zoom in as much as possible to get a better Bokeh effect picture. Too bad our kit lense only support 16 - 50mm, it doesn't really allow us to get such effect, hardly can see the blur effect at the back :(
