It's my 3rd visit to Desa Dairy Farm at Kundasang, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia since year 2012. As a KL girl, every time travel to Kota Kinabalu is like travel to overseas. Perhaps it's because of we need to take 2.5 hours flight, which is longer than fly to our neighbour countries Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia...
At Desa Dairy Farm, you can see how's the milking process going on in the milking machine room through the glass window. The dairy cattle lines up to enter the milking machine room round and round and the worker will feed them food while the machine is working.
You can also purchase fresh milk from the counter. There were only fresh milk and chocolate milk selling at the counter 2 years ago. Then it started to sell ice cream last year. This year, 2014, not only fresh milk and ice cream are available, there are frozen yogurt, waffle and pudding too. Besides, visitors were offered to taste the new flavoured milk like coffee, raspberry, strawberry and required to fill up a survey form after tasted it, seems like the business is growing pretty well huh.
