To the East... Kuatan, Cherating & Kuala Terengganu (Part 2)

While most people go travel overseas, I have a road trip toward East Coast this year....

Day 3
Again, wake up early in the morning just for the beautiful sun rise.

And we burn as much fat as we can before we check out from Cherating and off to Kuala Terrenganu. On our way, we had our breakfast at Kemaman, Terrenganu..... well, very heavy breakfast.... and really love the sambal of the nasi lemak and the hot bun...

Terrenganu.

After the great breakfast, we continue to drive up north to Kuala Terrenganu. When we arrive the hotel we were staying... we were happy to see the clean and big bedroom with pool view. It is a good place to relax.

And we really have a good rest after a long ride.. then we headed out to the Chinatown in Kuala Terrenganu for dinner. If you are thinking of having late dinner here, don't! Most shop close early. We end up just went to a restaurant that look nice from the outside, and thank goodness the food is not bad just not superb.

The next day,  went for a swim, enjoy the morning breeze, have breakfast with nice view at the resort and headed out..

Breakfast with view...

We started from the wet market that almost 99% of it sell keropok made of various type of fish, prawn, and squid.... and a few stall actually sell ... I better don't name it.

After the wet market, we walk to the nearby Chinatown again and I really enjoy seeing the nice vintage architectures although the sun was very cruel to us. One must also go to Turtle Alley in Chinatown, you will find a nice story along the alley telling us to protect the wild life turtle.

After walking under the blazing hot sun, we get back to my car and try to track down the vintage bus. Thankfully, the city is not too big and we found it very nearby Chinatown. Trust me, this is not any ordinary vintage bus. You may even go for a ride on this bus.

After finding the bus, we are back on the road and headed to the museum which was under renovation. Hence, we simply took a few photos of the museum from the outside and end the day by visiting the Crystal Mosque. If only we have more time, there are a lots of very beautiful mosques along the way. One who loves architecture should really go for a visit.

Oh... almost forgot, must have keropok lekor there too.
